It's playoff time, and Cox had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ocean Lakes Dolphins on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2. The win was familiar territory for Cox, who have now won six matchups in a row.

Ryan Piccola and Nate White scored all three of Cox's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Cox pushed their record up to 8-2-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Ocean Lakes, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4-2.

Coming up, Cox will face off against Hickory at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hickory will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Cox surely won't give up without a fight. Ocean Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
