Volleyball Recap: Waterford Wolverines vs. Racine Case Eagles
Waterford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Racine Case Eagles. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Evie Hoffman paced Waterford's offense, picking up three kills. Hoffman got some help from Maddy Monte and her eight assists. Grace Stultz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Racine Case can attribute much of their success to Elise Webster, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Webster has posted over her last ten matchups.
Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Racine Case, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-19.
Waterford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Union Grove on the 1st. As for Racine Case, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Indian Trail on the 1st.
