Baseball Recap: Jumpertown Takes a Loss

Jumpertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-1 to the Middleton Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Jumpertown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden McCuller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Jumpertown's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Middleton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Jumpertown will face off against Myrtle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middleton, they will take on Falkner at 7:35 p.m. on Monday. Falkner is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
