Baseball Recap: Saluda Comes Up Short

Saluda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Clinton Red Devils, falling 14-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 14-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Saluda's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Saluda will head out on the road to challenge Strom Thurmond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton, they will take on Ninety Six at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
