Volleyball Recap: Page Sand Devils vs. Kanab Cowboys
Page managed to slip by Kanab the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Sand Devils lost 3-0 to the Cowboys on Thursday. The Sand Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-18.
Kanab found their leader in sophomore Gracelyn Beckstead, who had seven aces. Those seven aces set a new season-high mark for Beckstead.
Page's defeat dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Kanab, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-16 record this season.
