Soccer Game Preview: Irving vs. Lake Highlands

Irving is 0-9 against Lake Highlands since February of 2021 but things could change on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Irving face off against Lake Highlands at 7:15 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Irving's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of MacArthur on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Lake Highlands had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Lake Highlands' win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Irving, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
