Football Recap: Shawsheen Valley Tech Skates Past Lynnfield with Ease

Shawsheen Valley Tech lost to Lynnfield back in November of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Rams blew past the Pioneers 41-6. With the Rams ahead 34-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Lynnfield's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Daniel Lemieux, who picked up 122 receiving yards and one score, and Matt Tracy, who threw for 172 yards and one TD. Lemieux showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 50 yards.

Shawsheen Valley Tech's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shawsheen Valley Tech will challenge Winthrop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynnfield, they will face off against Wakefield Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
