After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Summit, Sandy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the McDaniel Mountain Lions 69-55. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sandy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Sandy has already played their next game, an 85-61 loss against Sunset on the 9th. As for McDaniel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-42 defeat against David Douglas on the 9th.
