Volleyball Recap: South Garner Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Garner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Clayton Comets. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Comets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-6.

Leading Clayton to victory were Layla Seremet and Emily Hornbeck. Seremet had nine digs and one assist, while Hornbeck had four digs and two aces.

South Garner's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Clayton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Coincidentally, South Garner and Clayton will both be playing Garner the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Comets will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
