On Saturday, Eaglecrest faced Smoky Hill in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Eaglecrest Raptors were the clear victor by a 70-50 margin over the Smoky Hill Buffaloes. The score was close at the half, but the Raptors pulled away in the second half with 40 points.

Eaglecrest got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ant Nettles out in front who posted 15 points and three steals. The match was Nettles' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Kris Coleman was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 13 points and five rebounds.
