Softball Recap: South Side Rams vs. Freedom Area Bulldogs
South Side can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They beat the Freedom Area Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The victory was nothing new for South Side as they're now sitting on four straight.
For Freedom Area's part, Brianne Casto was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with a triple and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabelle Komlos, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with a stolen base.
South Side's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. As for Freedom Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
South Side does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Freedom Area, they will head out on the road to square off against Burgettstown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
