Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

The matchup between Roosevelt and Highland on Friday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Rough Riders lost 13-7 to the Hornets. The Rough Riders have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Brynn Moser was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Henry, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Highland, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-16 record.

As of now, neither Roosevelt nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
