Basketball Recap: Bishop's Takes a Loss

Bishop lost against La Jolla Country Day back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bishop's Knights took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Jolla Country Day Torreys. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for La Jolla Country Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Bishop's will be playing at home against Francis Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for La Jolla Country Day, they will head out on the road to challenge Maranatha Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. La Jolla Country Day knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Maranatha Christian likes a good challenge.
