Baseball Recap: Estes Park Wins Going Away Against Denver Academy

Estes Park won the last time they faced Denver Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 13-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Zec Moss made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Noah Webster was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Cole Ingram, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Estes Park now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Denver Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Estes Park will face off against Limon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Badgers will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Denver Academy, they will challenge Clear Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
