The Dade County Wolverines fell victim to the Dalton Academy Pumas's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 10-0 walloping at the hands of the Pumas. While losing is never fun, Dade County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 389th, while Dalton Academy is ranked 74th).
Dade County's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Dalton Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
