Baseball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was the 19-10 winner over Fort Morgan when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Mustangs on Saturday, falling 10-4. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alfonso Medina made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Valley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fort Morgan, their record is now 3-1.

Coming up, Valley will challenge Bennett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Morgan, they will square off against La Junta at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.6 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
