Softball Recap: Sutter Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

While Sutter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Inderkum Tigers on Saturday. The victory was just business as usual for the Huskies, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Brooklyn Murphey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Kalena Delacerna was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Callison, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Sutter's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Inderkum, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Sutter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against Foothill on the 7th. As for Inderkum, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Christian Brothers on the 9th.
