Goddard scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. The contest between the Rockets and the Belen Eagles didn't end well, with the Rockets falling 65-50. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 50-48 to the Eagles when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Belen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Pablo Aguilar led the charge by putting up 14 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Daniel Aguilar, who posted ten points and five assists.

Goddard's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Belen, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
