Softball Recap: Oxford Takes a Loss

Oxford came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-1 to the Lake Orion Dragons. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Dragons: they've now lost four in a row.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Lake Orion, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Oxford will square off against North Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Orion, they will venture away from home to square off against Clarkston at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
