Whitney Young strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 39-0 victory over the Taft Eagles. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Dolphins considering their seven-point performance the match before.

Whitney Young was led to victory by Georgia Lang and Denisse Mayhay. Lang threw for 156 yards and a pair of TDs, while Mayhay rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Mayhay has posted since back in October of 2024.

Whitney Young didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Kennedy Glover led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by herself. Nina Lloyd has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times she's played. Glover got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Whitney Young's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Taft, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Whitney Young wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 32-20 victory against Stagg on the 9th. As for Taft, they have also already played their next game, a 33-0 loss against Maine South on the 8th.
