There's no place like home for Lake Region, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Fort Meade Miners on Monday. Considering the Thunder have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Makenna Meadows was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk).
