Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Seymour Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Kennedy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Seymour's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-20.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Seymour, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Kennedy will venture away from home to square off against Derby at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seymour, they will welcome Shelton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
