Basketball Recap: Goliad Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Goliad can now relate to. They took a 49-32 bruising from the Edna Cowboys on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Goliad's defeat dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Edna, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-10.

Goliad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edna, they will face off against Crystal City on Thursday. Crystal City will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Edna surely won't give up without a fight.
