Softball Recap: Allentown Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Allentown Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Whitehall Zephyrs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 21-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Allentown Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Whitehall, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Allentown Central Catholic will face off against rival East Stroudsburg South at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Whitehall is set to square off against their familiar foe East Stroudsburg North at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
