Mohave Accelerated waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Highland Prep West HORNETS 15-5. 15 seems to be a good number for the Patriots as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Cash Keller was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Vince Garcia was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Mohave Accelerated's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Highland Prep West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mohave Accelerated will face off against Parker at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Highland Prep West, they will take on Glendale Prep Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
