Basketball Recap: Loudoun County Comes Up Short

On Sunday, the Loudoun County Captains came up short against the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks and fell 48-39. While losing is never fun, the Captains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Hawks are ranked 30th).

Loudoun County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.

Loudoun County will welcome Dominion at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fairfax HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-39 win against Loudoun County HomeSchool on the 20th.
