Baseball Recap: Thief River Falls Takes a Loss

Thief River Falls was the 7-4 winner over East Grand Forks when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Prowlers took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Wave on Tuesday. The match marked the Prowlers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Thief River Falls got a good showing from Dylan Osowski, who tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

This is the second loss in a row for Thief River Falls and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for East Grand Forks, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, East Grand Forks will be playing in front of their home fans against Goodridge/Thief River Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thief River Falls will be paying especially close attention to the Green Wave's contest: after the Green Wave faces off against the Huskies, they'll take on Thief River Falls again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
