The Mount Si Wildcats will take on the Eastlake Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mount Si is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
On Friday, Mount Si made easy work of Bellevue and carried off a 21-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Mount Si got a great performance from Clara Connor as she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those eight strikeouts gave Connor a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Sam Santo was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Braukus, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs and four RBI.
Mount Si was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .342 or higher in six consecutive matches.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Eastlake and Issaquah have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Wolves lost 11-1 to the Eagles. The game marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Eastlake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macie Parthemer, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Mount Si's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.7 runs over those games. As for Eastlake, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Eastlake's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mount Si has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Eastlake, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given Mount Si's sizable advantage in that area, the Wolves will need to find a way to close that gap.
Mount Si skirted past Eastlake 7-6 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
