Basketball Game Preview: Harding County Ranchers vs. Lemmon Cowboys

Harding County and Lemmon are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Harding County Ranchers will host the Lemmon Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harding County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Harding County came up short against Dupree and fell 61-52.

Harding County might have lost, but man, Cohen Smith was a machine: he went 8 for 10 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Smith also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ryder Hunsucker, who posted 11 points.

Even though they lost, Harding County was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Lemmon waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They enjoyed a cozy 58-43 victory over the Tigers.

Harding County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lemmon, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
