Basketball Game Preview: Naselle Comets vs. Onalaska Loggers

Naselle has won four straight games at home, while Onalaska has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Saturday. The Naselle Comets will host the Onalaska Loggers at 7:15 p.m.

Naselle is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Taholah just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 55-41 to the Chitwhins.

Meanwhile, Onalaska posted their biggest victory since December 11, 2024 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Winlock 58-18. Given the Loggers' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Cardinals are ranked 311th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Naselle's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Onalaska, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
