Baseball Recap: Tuckahoe Takes a Loss

Tuckahoe fell victim to The Leffell School and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-0. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly two runs.

Kyle Carney was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

This is the second loss in a row for Tuckahoe and nudges their season record down to 7-4. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for The Leffell School, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuckahoe will face off against Briarcliff at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The Leffell School, they will host Putnam Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
