Volleyball Recap: Pine Forest Takes a Loss

Pine Forest lost against Escambia back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Gators, falling 3-0.

While Pine Forest was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Escambia's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16, 25-22.

Madison Pope was a one-woman wrecking crew For Escambia. as she had eight digs and five aces. Those eight digs gave Pope a new career-high.

Pine Forest's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Escambia, their win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Pine Forest will host Northview at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Escambia, they are taking a road trip to challenge West Florida Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
