Notre Dame Academy has been on the road for four straight, but on Wednesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Notre Dame Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season. They breezed by St. Edmund Prep on the road to the tune of 51-23.
Sabrina Kraker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Notre Dame Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Sweeney, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph Hill Academy entered their tilt with St. Anthony's with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. St. Joseph Hill Academy came out on top against St. Anthony's by a score of 59-50 on Saturday.
Notre Dame Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for St. Joseph Hill Academy, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
