Basketball Recap: Holgate Takes a Loss

Holgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 62-39 to the Stryker Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 45-34 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Holgate's record is now 0-15. As for Stryker, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

Holgate won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Emmanuel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Stryker has already played their next contest (against Archbold), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
