Basketball Recap: Zion Christian Takes a Loss

Zion Christian suffered their biggest loss since March 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Galesburg-Augusta Rams, falling 53-26. The match marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Zion Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Galesburg-Augusta, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Zion Christian will welcome Sacred Heart Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Galesburg-Augusta, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Springport at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
