Pioneer suffered their biggest loss since October 23, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Davis Sr. Blue Devils. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Pioneer took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Pioneer still got an impressive performance from Layla Medalle, who had nine digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Ava Casias, who had 11 digs.

Pioneer's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Davis Sr., they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
