Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley). They really took it to The Pinnacle Timberwolves for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-7 victory. With the Vikings ahead 44-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nevaeh Jimenez, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Jimenez has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Alivia Lawing was another key player, going 8 for 12 en route to 21 points.

Valley was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Valley's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-3. As for The Pinnacle, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-23 loss against University on the 15th. As for The Pinnacle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-23 defeat against Arvada on the 16th.
