Basketball Recap: Stringer Piles Up the Points Against Mississippi School for the Deaf

Stringer had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They really took it to the Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-13 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-4.

Despite the defeat, Mississippi School for the Deaf had strong showings from Tyler Thomas, who posted six points, and Christopher Magee, who put up five points.

Stringer's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-15. As for Mississippi School for the Deaf, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stringer and Taylorsville will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
