Football Recap: South Oak Cliff Skates Past Argyle with Ease

It's playoff time, and South Oak Cliff had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Argyle Eagles 37-3. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by 28 points or more this season.

South Oak Cliff wouldn't let Argyle keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. South Oak Cliff can thank Kordae Houston and Rickey Giles for forcing both of them. Giles is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last three games he's played. South Oak Cliff got some further help from Jayden Shelton: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.

South Oak Cliff pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.3 points. As for Argyle, with the loss, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-2.

South Oak Cliff and Randle will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. Randle will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something South Oak Cliff surely won't give up without a fight. Argyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
