Baseball Recap: Conifer Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Conifer was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 10-2 to the South Fork Bulldogs.

Conifer saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Merrion, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Conifer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Fork, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.

Coming up, Conifer will face off against Okeechobee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
