Volleyball Recap: Capital Comes Up Short

Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Flying Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in September.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15-2. As for Woodrow Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-6-6 record this season.

Capital wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Oak Hill on the 4th. As for Woodrow Wilson, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Herbert Hoover on the 4th.
