Basketball Game Preview: Bishop's Knights vs. Archbishop Riordan Crusaders

The Bishop's Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Bishop's saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a hard 57-41 fall against Cardinal Newman. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Riordan unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 49-42 to Varsity Opponent.

Despite the defeat, Archbishop Riordan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Trenia Dunbar posted 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for Dunbar. Tallyah Nasol was another key player, putting up seven points.

Archbishop Riordan's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Bishop's, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
