Volleyball Recap: Minneapolis Takes a Loss

Minneapolis lost against Beloit two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Trojans.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Minneapolis has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Beloit, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Minneapolis will take on Russell on Thursday. As for Beloit, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Nemaha Central on the 4th.
