Football Recap: Cumberland County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Cumberland County's offense. The game between the Jets and the Rockwood Tigers didn't end well, with the Jets falling 14-0. The Jets haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cumberland County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rockwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Cumberland County and Jackson County will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Rockwood, they will host Roane County at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 14, the Yellowjackets 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
