Baseball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge fell victim to Newark Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Green Wave. The match marked the first time this year in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Northridge's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Newark Catholic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Zanesville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Newark Catholic will take on rival Watkins Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Green Wave 2.3, the Warriors 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
