Softball Recap: Model Comes Up Short

Model lost to Danville back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots lost 11-4 to the Admirals. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ava Low made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.

Model's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Danville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.

Looking ahead, Model will be playing at home against Lee County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.56 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Danville, they will square off against Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
