Basketball Game Preview: Pratt Greenbacks vs. Liberal Redskins

The Pratt Greenbacks will head out to face off against the Liberal Redskins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pratt is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They took down LaCrosse 48-34 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Liberal blew past Syracuse, posting a 55-27 victory. Given the Redskins' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 97th) , the win last Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pratt better keep an eye on Shamari Lewis. She was instrumental in Liberal's win, almost dropping a double-double with 25 points and nine boards. The game was Lewis' third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Madysen Hammond, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Liberal was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are a perfect 8-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Pratt's record now sits at 5-9-1. As for Liberal, their record is now 9-2.
