Football Recap: Noblesville L Takes a Loss

If Noblesville L was riding high fresh off their 42-12 takedown of Christel House at Manual last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lions received a blow on Friday as they fell 30-14 to the Brown County Eagles.

Brown County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Quentin Bell, who threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 98 yards and one TD on only six carries. Those 238 passing yards gave Bell a new career-high. Asher Stringer was another key back, gaining 143 total yards and a touchdown.

Noblesville L now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Brown County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Noblesville L will welcome Purdue Poly Englewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brown County, they will challenge North Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
