Football Recap: Cardington-Lincoln Takes a Loss

Cardington-Lincoln lost against Northmor back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates took a 41-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Knights. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

It was another big night for Tanner Miley, who rushed for 213 yards and one TD while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 187 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes for Northmor. Those 213 rushing yards gave Miley a new career-high. Northmor's leading receiver Conner Stockdale was Miley's top target yet again, picking up 85 receiving yards and two scores.

Cardington-Lincoln's record now sits at 3-6. As for Northmor, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Cardington-Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northmor, they will welcome Loudonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
