It was a good run, but Choctaw County unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the West Marion Trojans by a score of 4-2. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 5-4 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2017, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Choctaw County's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for West Marion, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-12.

Choctaw County has already played their next match, a 14-6 victory against Park Place Christian Academy on the 14th. As for West Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Enterprise on the 13th.
